Access Control System for Kyusyu Power Electric Co., Inc Sendai Nuclear Power Plant
FAPIG No. 184 pp.3 to 8 (2012)

Amid raising the stricter dose control toward personnel working in nuclear power plant, on dose control and radiation monitoring system for Kyusyu Power Electric Co., Inc, Sendai Nuclear Power Plant, Fuji Electric had manufactured and provided an access control system mounting functions to achieve preventing entering with dosemeter for anyone else or without a dosemeter; reducing exposure by making the exposure level from every work stricter; and reducing burden on personnel, under instruction and cooperation of Kyusyu Power Electric.

Development of YBCO Magnet for Superconducting Motor
FAPIG No. 184 pp.9 to 14 (2012)

Fuji Electric has manufactured large special shape (flat umbrella type) coils in full-scale, which can be downsized, for 500kW class superconducting rotating machines by using YBCO high-temperature superconducting wire along with Industrial Superconductivity Technology Research and Association and Kyushu University for the first time in the world. We confirmed that a magnetic field of 3T (tesla) is generated and the coil withstood the electromagnetic stress of 150 MPa generated at that time. Accordingly, we have a prospect that it can be applied to YBCO superconducting motor. Here we introduce the outline of the retrofit type YBCO superconducting motor, which will replace normal conduction motor, and the developed field coils.

Building of the Monitoring Information System
for the environmental Radioactivity Level
FAPIG No. 184 pp.15 to 20 (2012)

Fujitsu has finished to build the Monitoring Information System for the environmental radioactivity level, that was ordered by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
The system collects the monitoring data of radioactivity level, then release the monitoring information to public via WEB.
We started the services at April, 2012 on IDC (Internet Data Canter).
It took the only 110 days to build the system, by using ajax framework and RapidWEB+ that is our existing IT assests.
In this paper, we describe the outline and the features of the system.

Development of Decontamination System for Soil with Radioactive Cesium
FAPIG No. 184 pp.21 to 24 (2012)

The releases of radioactive materials at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, following the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami on 11 March 2011, are cause of environmental radioactive contamination. It is very important to resolve health problem and reduce influences living circumstances as soon as practicable.
Many researches and developments are conducted for improveing circumstances of peopleÕs lives and minimizing farmed contamination because the radioactive materials (most of them are cesium) stay in soils and forests around people.
We report that we researched the decontamination condition of soil, we selected the available decontamination methods and we conducted the demonstrated tests in Fukushima.
