We confirmed that a magnetic field of 3T (tesla) is generated and the coil withstood the electromagnetic stress of 150 MPa generated at that time. Accordingly, we have a prospect that it can be applied to YBCO superconducting motor. Here we introduce the outline of the retrofit type YBCO superconducting motor, which will replace normal conduction motor, and the developed field coils.
